Wal-Mart is the world's largest company for the tenth consecutive year. Saudi Aramco rose to second place for the first time. China's State Grid Corporation of China continues to rank third. Amazon and PetroChina ranked fourth and fifth respectively.
This year, with the addition of Taiwanese companies, China has 142 companies on the list, and the number of large companies continues to rank first among all countries. It is worth noting that the number of listed companies in mainland China (including Hong Kong) declined for the first time in nearly 15 years this year, one less than previous year, to 135. The total revenue of China's 142 listed companies exceeded $11.7 trillion in 2022, up 1.7% from 145 listed companies last year.
