signing ceremony, Guangyuan Municipal People's Government, Cangxi County People's Government and Tongwei Stock Company signed the Investment Agreement for 400000 Tons of Green Base Material (Industrial Silicon) Project. Chairman Liu Hanyuan, Secretary He Shuping, Mayor Dong Li, Standing Committee Member Yang Hao, Deputy Director Zhang Shizhong and Chairman Liu Shuqi witnessed the formal signing of the project.
According to Digital New Energy DNE, in April this year, Cangxi County Government said that Tongwei Tongwei Group Yongxiang Co., Ltd. It is planned to build an intelligent manufacturing industrial park project for new crystalline silicon materials and photovoltaics , invest in the first phase of the project with an annual output of 300000 tons of industrial silicon, and build a production line of 100000 tons of industrial silicon in advance. The planned land area is 500 mu, the investment is 1.5 billion yuan, the annual output value is 2.5 billion yuan, the annual profit and tax is 500 million yuan, and 500 people are employed. In the later stage, the industrial silicon production line of 200,000 tons will be built through industrial technological transformation.
On July 1, Tongwei and Cangxi County Government held a meeting on the promotion of the project elements of Tongwei Crystalline Silicon Photovoltaic Phase I with an annual output of 400,000 tons of green base materials (industrial silicon).
In addition, on February 7 this year, Tongwei signed the Investment Agreement for 120000 Tons of High Purity Silicon Project with the Leshan Municipal Government of Sichuan Province and the Wutongqiao District Government. The total investment is about 6 billion yuan , with an annual output of 120000 tons of high-purity silicon projects and related supporting facilities. The project is scheduled to start construction before the end of June 2023, striving to put into operation in 2024, with an annual output value of about 20 billion yuan.
