On July 30, the commencement ceremony of major projects in the third quarter of 2023 and the 1 million kilowatt wind power project in Ruoqiang County, Bazhou, was held in Ruoqiang County, Xinjiang. Six key projects were centralized, with a total investment of 29.8 billion yuan.

This centralized project covers mineral resources, clean energy, equipment manufacturing and other fields, with both economic and social benefits. They are CGN Bazhou Ruoqiang 1 million kilowatts wind power , China Green Power New Energy 4 million kilowatts photovoltaic, Vision Energy Company wind turbine wind power, Dongfang Electric blade host, Karchar 1.2 million tons/year fluorite mining and dressing project, Huadian Bazhou Hybrid Energy Storage 1 million kilowatt wind power integration 6 projects, with a total investment of 29.8 billion yuan .

Among them, Ruoqiang Zhongguang Nuclear Power Plant's 1 million kilowatt wind power project has a total investment of 3.96 billion yuan , with an annual planned fixed assets investment of 2.6 billion yuan, and the construction of 1 million kilowatt wind power plus 100 MW/200 MWh energy storage system. The commencement of CGN Wind Power Project will accelerate the investment of its partners in the construction of polysilicon, rod drawing, slicing, components and other production projects in Ruoqiang, which is of great significance to further extend and improve the photovoltaic industry chain and enhance the new energy equipment manufacturing industry in Bazhou.

   Lu Ninghai, director of the Development and Reform Commission of Ruoqiang County, said: Among the major projects started today, there are three new energy projects, one green mine project and two equipment manufacturing projects, with high investment intensity and good economic benefits. After the completion of the project, the average annual output value is about 7.2 billion yuan, and the profits and taxes are 860 million yuan. It will surely provide strong support for our county to speed up the construction of 10 million kilowatt new energy base, promote the construction of green mines and new material industries, and inject new impetus and vitality into the high-quality development of the county's economy and society.
