On July 28, the opening ceremony of Camel Group's new energy low-carbon industrial park was held in the high-tech zone. Wang Qiyang, member of the Standing Committee of Hunan Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of Xiangyang Municipal Party Committee, announced the commencement of the project, and Mayor Wang Taihui delivered a speech.
Camel Group New Energy Low Carbon Industrial Park is an intelligent green intelligent manufacturing center built with high-tech content, high intelligent manufacturing and high environmental protection standards, and is committed to building a high-end brand in the field of lithium batteries. The project plans to invest in the construction of 12 million sets of low-voltage lithium battery production base and 10Gwh energy storage battery production base , with a total investment of 6.8 billion yuan and a planned land area of about 530 mu, which is divided into two phases.
The first phase of the project is planned to invest 3.3 billion yuan to build an annual output of 4 million sets of low-voltage lithium batteries and 2GWh energy storage lithium batteries and supporting facilities, which are planned to be fully put into operation by the end of 2024; the second phase of the project is planned to invest 3.5 billion yuan to build an annual output of 8 million sets of low-voltage lithium batteries and 8GWh energy storage lithium batteries.
