Recently, China Cement Network learned that in 2022, China Resources Cement will control six new mine resources in Guangxi, Hubei and Chongqing through bidding, mergers and acquisitions, and equity participation. As of the end of 2022, relying on the cement mines, the annual aggregate production capacity (including trial production) owned by CRH through its subsidiaries was approximately 48.4 million tonnes, and the annual aggregate production capacity attributable to CRH through its equity interests in associates located in Yunnan and Fujian was approximately 3.1 million tonnes. In addition to the newly acquired aggregate projects, upon completion, the annual aggregate production capacity in operation and under construction controlled by CR Cement through its subsidiaries is expected to reach 137.1 million tonnes, and the attributable annual aggregate production capacity in operation and under construction controlled by its equity interests in its associates and joint ventures will be approximately 13.6 million tonnes.
According to the 2022 annual performance announcement of China Resources Cement, in 2023, China Resources Group is expected to put into operation 15 aggregate projects in Fengkai, Deqing, Luoding, Tianyang Napo, Hezhou Fuchuan, Nanning Binyang, Nanning Xixiangtang, Yongding (Phase I), Dingan, Weishan, Midu, Luonan, Tongchuan, Hengzhou and Zhaotong, involving an annual capacity of 81 million tons.
