On November 23, Zhang Guozhong, Secretary of Fengdu County Party Committee of Chongqing, and Liu Yongxing, Chairman of Dongfang Hope Group, jointly ignited the first kiln fire of Fengdu Cement Solid Waste Disposal Center Project, which formally entered the trial production stage.
The project relies on Fengdu Cement 3200 tons/day clinker kiln line to co-dispose solid waste, which can meet the "reduction, harmlessness and resource" disposal of urban industrial waste in the surrounding 200 km area, with an annual disposal of 200000 tons of solid waste. It can effectively improve the solid waste disposal capacity of Chongqing at the present stage and greatly improve the urban environmental quality. At the same time, the project adopts the most advanced production technology and production process in the industry, which can achieve efficient, environmentally friendly and intelligent production, with both economic and social benefits. Tang Shouyuan, Deputy Secretary of Fengdu County Party Committee and county governor, said in his speech at the opening ceremony that the successful ignition of the project marked the formal commissioning of another green building material project with an annual output of one million tons in Fengdu, which would surely speed up the construction of Fengdu Advanced Material Industry Cluster and Advanced Material Industry New Town.
