Lv Guo, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, and Han Liming, Chief Financial Officer of the Company, attended the meeting and had in-depth exchanges with institutional analysts and investors on the Company's business performance and development plan for 2022.
2. The project of "Key Technology and Engineering Application of Large Size Cadmium Telluride Power Generation Glass" of Chengdu CNBM Photoelectric Materials Co., Ltd. won the first prize of Sichuan Science and Technology Progress Award in 2022.
3. On the evening of March 31, Linuo Tebo held a new product release conference in Jinan, announcing that the medium borosilicate medicinal glass tube reached the production capacity smoothly, which further promoted the localization of this medicinal packaging product.
4. On March 31, the Market Supervision and Administration Bureau of Foshan City issued the Notice on the Quality Supervision and Spot Inspection of Toughened Glass Products for Construction (No.23, 2023). In this spot inspection, the quality of 20 types of toughened glass products for construction from 20 enterprises was inspected, and a total of 3 enterprises were unqualified.
5. On March 31, the Market Supervision and Administration Bureau of Foshan City issued the Notice on the Supervision and Spot Inspection of the Quality of Building External Windows (No.26, 2023). In this spot inspection, 60 enterprises conducted spot checks on the quality of 60 building external windows, and 9 of them were unqualified.
6. Recently, Saint-Gobain of France said that the company had signed an agreement with AEQUITA of Germany to sell Swiss glass processing enterprises to each other. The deal, which is expected to close by the end of May 2023, is part of Saint-Gobain's strategy to continue business profile optimisation and is in line with its "Growth & Impact" strategic plan.
7. Recently, Saint-Gobain used 30% hydrogen fuel to produce flat glass during R & D tests at Herzogenrath plant in Germany. Demonstrated for the first time the technical feasibility of making flat glass from large amounts of hydrogen, which would complement other decarbonised energy sources and reduce direct CO2 emissions from the site by up to 70%.
