Recently, the launching ceremony of the National Energy Conservation Publicity Week 2023 in Guizhou Province and Guiyang City was held in Guiyang. At the ceremony, Jinzhou Cement, as one of the ten units of "Green Energy-saving Demonstration Unit" in Guizhou Province, was awarded the license on the spot.
"Green Energy-saving Demonstration Unit" is a selection activity carried out by Guizhou Province to promote high-quality development, vigorously advocate green, energy-saving, low-carbon production and lifestyle, and accelerate the overall green transformation of Guizhou's economic development. Following the honors of "National Green Factory" and "First-Class Safety Standard Enterprise", the award of "Green Energy-saving Demonstration Unit" is another vivid portrayal of Jinzhou Cement's practice of green, low-carbon, environmental protection, safety and high-quality development.
As early as the early days of the factory, Jinzhou Cement was designed and constructed with the sustainable development concept of low carbon, energy saving and environmental protection, adopting the new dry cement production process and supporting the installed capacity of 9 MW pure low-temperature waste heat generating units. More than 800000 tons of industrial waste can be comprehensively utilized annually, and more than 60 million kilowatt-hours of waste heat can be used to generate electricity, which can meet 30% of the production demand, equivalent to saving 25000 tons of standard coal and reducing 40000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually.
Over the years, Jinzhou Cement has been doing a good job in energy conservation and environmental protection while ensuring safe production, actively responding to the new development concept of "innovation, coordination, green, open and sharing", and combining with its own reality, carried out a series of equipment renewal, technological transformation and energy-saving innovation. Green production and green manufacturing run through the whole process of procurement, production and sales, continuously reduce production energy consumption, improve the utilization rate of waste heat power generation, and explore a green and environmentally friendly development path.
