On July 27, Trina Solar announced that the board of directors had recently received a written resignation report from Mr. Cao Bo, director and deputy general manager of the company. Due to personal reasons, Mr. Cao Bo applied to resign from the positions of director and deputy general manager of the Company, and ceased to be a member of the Nomination Committee of the Board. His resignation report shall take effect from the date of delivery to the Board.

According to Trina Solar's previous disclosure, Cao Bo worked in Hebei University of Technology from July 1996 to February 2002, and served as director of human resources in listed companies such as Tasly Holding Group Co., Ltd. from March 2002 to February 2010. From March 2010 to December 2018, he served as the vice president of JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd., in charge of human resources, audit, supply chain, operation, global marketing, product technology, photovoltaic power plant development and investment, and presided over the daily operation of the company. President of Jinzhai Jiayue New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. from January 2019 to August 2019; Vice President of Beijing Enterprises Clean Energy Group Co., Ltd. from November 2019 to June 2020, in charge of human resources, development, engineering, procurement, cost, operation, sales and other work. Joined Trina Solar in June 2020 and served as deputy general manager of Trina Solar; Since December 2020, he has served as a director of Trina Solar.

Trina Solar said that Cao Bo's resignation would not cause the company's board of directors to fall below the statutory minimum, and would not affect the normal operation of the board of directors and the company's production and operation. The company will elect directors as soon as possible in accordance with legal procedures.

As of the announcement date, Cao Bo directly held 260,586 shares of Trina Solar. At the same time, Cao Bo indirectly holds 0.052% of the company's shares through Shiyan Cisheng Enterprise Management Partnership (Limited Partnership).
