On March 31, Foshan Municipal Market Supervision and Administration Bureau issued the Notice on Quality Supervision and Spot Inspection of Building External Windows (No.26, 2023), which conducted spot checks on the quality of 60 building external windows of 60 enterprises, totaling 9 unqualified ones.
This spot check focuses on the main items of aluminum alloy profile thickness, surface treatment, door and window and assembly size, assembly quality, structure, wind pressure resistance, water tightness, air tightness and mechanical properties of building exterior window products.
It is reported that the online and offline sales link did not find unqualified building window products, the production link found 9 unqualified, the unqualified detection rate is 15%. The unqualified items of building external window products mainly include: wall thickness of aluminum alloy profiles, surface treatment of aluminum alloy profiles, and watertight performance (see the annex for the list of unqualified products).
