On March 31, Foshan Municipal Market Supervision and Administration Bureau issued the Notice on Quality Supervision and Spot Inspection of Building Toughened Glass Products (No.23, 2023), which conducted spot checks on the quality of 20 types of building tempered glass products from 20 enterprises, a total of 3 of which were unqualified.
The spot check focused on the main items such as fragment state, impact resistance, surface stress and shotgun bag impact performance of tempered glass products for construction.
It is reported that the online and offline sales link did not find building tempered glass products unqualified, in the production link found three unqualified, the unqualified detection rate is 15%. The unqualified items of building toughened glass mainly include: fragment state and surface stress (see the annex for the list of unqualified products).
