Confidence is more precious than gold, especially in the face of the current complex situation, confidence is a symbol of strength. Based on the views of many local grinding enterprises in Ningbo, the key factors for the grinding station to maintain steady development are as follows:
First, the demand for cement in the sales area is supported. The continuous downward trend of the real estate industry has brought great adverse effects on the demand for cement, so the quantity and quality of major projects largely determine the development of the cement industry in the region. In the coastal areas of Zhejiang, the economy is relatively developed, and the investment in major projects is steadily rising, which provides a strong support for the demand for cement. For example, from January to May, the investment in key projects in Ningbo in 2023 increased by 33% year on year, and the annual plan completion rate reached 47.5%. There are 136 projects planned to start in the year, of which 63 are planned to start from January to May, and 80 are actually started.
Second, there is a stable source of clinker supply. Once the clinker supply is cut off, the grinding station will fall into the danger of shutdown and closure. At present, the power consumption per ton of cement grinding process in most cement enterprises is between 26-32 degrees, some old design production lines are still above 34 degrees, while some energy-saving production lines have been able to achieve about 20 degrees, the gap between enterprises is large, many local cement grinding stations in Ningbo have steadily controlled the power consumption per ton of cement within 24 degrees. Strong competitiveness.
