The type of hydrogen storage tank used in the California hydrogen bus explosion is the same as the brand and model of the hydrogen storage tank leaked in the Netherlands.

According to foreign media, on June 10, 2023, Everfuel found a hydrogen leak from a four-type bottle (supplied by Hexagon Purus, Norway) of a transport trailer in Rotterdam. Everfuel took preventive measure to stop the delivery of hydrogen. The leak was found to have been caused by a burst O-ring on the valve. The valve was improperly bolted during assembly.
