On July 24, the Guangdong Department of Ecology and Environment approved the EIA documents of seven sea sand mining projects, with a total mining reserve of about 156 million cubic meters and an annual mining of 68.6 million cubic meters. Among them, there are 6 cases in Shantou, Guangdong, with a total exploitable reserve of about 126 million cubic meters and an annual exploitation of 57.6 million cubic meters; and 1 case in Maoming, Guangdong, with an exploitable reserve of more than 30 million cubic meters and an annual exploitation of 11 million cubic meters.
