On July 26, in the latest institutional survey information table released by Dongfang Risheng, the company said that by the second quarter of 2023, the company had formed an effective capacity of 15 GW batteries and 25 GW components. The above production capacity is mainly distributed in Chuzhou of Anhui, Jintan of Jiangsu, Yiwu of Zhejiang, Ningbo of Zhejiang, Malaysia and Baotou of Inner Mongolia.

In addition, the company's battery module production capacity under construction mainly includes the "Zhejiang Ninghai 5GW N-type ultra-low carbon high-efficiency heterojunction cell and 10GW high-efficiency solar module project" located in Ninghai. The "4GW High Efficiency Solar Cell and 6GW High Efficiency Solar Cell Module Project" in Jintan, Jiangsu Province and the "10GW High Efficiency Solar Cell Project" in Chuzhou, Anhui Province.

At the same time, the company's energy storage related industries are developing rapidly, and the related production capacity is running well.

The company's future related new capacity will be mainly N-type battery components, the current conversion limit efficiency of this type of battery has certain advantages compared with the traditional P-type battery.

In view of the situation of heterojunction production line, Dongfang Risheng introduced that the company's first heterojunction production line in Jintan had rolled off the production line on April 27. The first line was close to full production, and other production lines were also entering commissioning and climbing production. At the same time, the above-mentioned first mass production line of heterojunction has been synchronously introduced into the relevant technologies that have been verified and matured on the pilot line, including double-sided microcrystalline technology, thin silicon wafer technology, low silver containing paste technology, etc. The average efficiency of the 210-size half-piece ultra-thin heterojunction cell produced recently has reached 25.4%, the yield of the production line has reached 98.5%, and the output capacity has approached the design limit. At present, the second mass production line has also entered the climbing state.

At the same time, the "Zhejiang Ninghai 5G WN-type ultra-low carbon high-efficiency heterojunction cell and 10g W high-efficiency solar module project" located in Ninghai will also enter the production climbing state in the third quarter of this year.

According to the current situation of new production capacity and subsequent capacity climbing, it is expected that the company's production capacity of heterojunction batteries will be nearly 3G W in 2023.

In the future, the company will reduce the cost of heterojunction from the following aspects, including but not limited to further reducing the pure silver content of the paste, applying TCO targets with low indium or even without indium, introducing thinner N-type silicon wafers, and reducing the comprehensive cost through scale.
