Hubei Jingmen auctioned off the mining right of a limestone mine for building stones at a starting price of 40.3 million yuan

On July 24, the Natural Resources and Planning Bureau of Jingmen City announced that the mining right of limestone mine for building stones in Yagushan Mining Area, Qujialing Administrative Area, Jingmen City, Hubei Province, would be sold by auction for 15 years, with a starting price of 40.3 million yuan, and the range of each quotation increase would be RMB 500000 yuan or an integral multiple of RMB 500000 yuan. The mining area of the

project is 0.2666 square kilometers, with a resource reserve of 44.693 million tons.

, 2023 Jingzhou City is located in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, the central and southern part of Hubei Province, and the hinterland of Jianghan Plain. The General Plan for Mineral Resources of Jingzhou City (2021-2025) points out that in order to effectively regulate the total amount of resources development, by the end of 2025, the total number of mines in the city will not exceed 40, of which the number of building stone mines will not exceed 16. The total amount of mineral exploitation has been effectively controlled, and the total annual exploitation of salt mine, limestone for cement and stone for construction is expected to reach 300000 tons, 12 million tons and 44.5 million tons respectively.

We will carry out exploration of building materials and metallurgical non-metallic minerals such as limestone for cement, limestone for ash making, high-quality quartzite, shale for cement ingredients and dolomite for metallurgy, so as to find out the family background for follow-up resource exploitation. Consolidate the withdrawal results of coal and peat mining, strictly control and restrict the exploration and mining of pyrite, adjust and optimize the mining layout of limestone for cement and building stone, expand the production capacity of limestone for cement and building stone through the adjustment of old mining areas and the investment of new mining areas, and construct two key mining areas for limestone for cement and two key mining areas for limestone for cement. While guaranteeing the demand for cement and sand in Jingzhou City, it will radiate to the market of Jianghan Plain and neighboring provinces and cities.

Shashi District, Jingzhou District, Gongan County and Jiangling County: strengthen the exploration of potash and salt mines, consolidate the foundation of important mineral resources, and strive to achieve a breakthrough in strategic mineral prospecting. Stabilize the total amount of existing salt mining, consolidate the existing salt mining bases, and prepare to build new salt mining bases.

Shishou City and Honghu City: strengthen the investigation, evaluation and exploration of geothermal, copper, gold and other metal minerals, provide geological data support for the setting of exploration planning blocks, and strive to achieve a breakthrough in strategic mineral prospecting.
