On July 25, Huaguang Huanneng announced that its holding subsidiary, Zhongshi Guolian, intends to invest in the development of a centralized ground photovoltaic project in Feicheng City, Tai'an City, Shandong Province, with an overall capacity of 800MW.

In the first phase, it is planned to construct the 200MW agricultural photovoltaic complementary project in Shiheng Town, Feicheng City, Shandong Province and the 100MW agricultural photovoltaic complementary project in Wangguadian Town, Feicheng City. The total investment of the project is about 1.421 billion yuan, of which 20% is planned to be invested by Huaxin New Energy to the project company as the registered capital of the project company, and 80% is planned to be financed by banks. Zhongshi Guolian intends to acquire 92.42% equity of Huaxin New Energy through capital increase, and implement the specific investment and construction of 300MW photovoltaic power plants through two wholly-owned project companies of Huaxin New Energy.

two projects are expected to complete the preliminary development work in December 2023 and declare the construction target of centralized photovoltaic projects in 2023, and are expected to be connected to the grid by the end of 2024.
