In order to implement the "Implementation Plan for Establishing a Closed-loop Management Mechanism of" Three Regulations and Three Necessaries "for Safe Production in Nansha District", actively cooperate with the "Notice on Joint Law Enforcement Action to Combat Illegal Sand and Mud Washing in July 2023 by the United Municipal River Chief Office", carry out joint law enforcement action to normalize water traffic safety, and strengthen water traffic safety. Investigate and punish illegal activities such as sand washing and mud washing, and maintain the cleanliness of waters and the smooth flow of waterways. On July 20, the Nansha Maritime Department participated in the joint law enforcement action against mud and sand washing in Nansha District. In the
joint operation, three law enforcement vessels and more than 30 law enforcement officers were dispatched, and the inspection team cruised on the spot to inspect whether there were illegal sand-washing and mud-washing vessels in the lower Hengli and Hongqili waterways, and severely cracked down on the use of "three nothingness" vessels, illegally refitted vessels and illegal loading, transportation and washing. In the northwest waters of Guisha Island, more than 10 ships such as "Guangdong Zhaoqing Workers XXX" were inspected on the spot, and no traces of sand and mud washing were found. The inspection team also conducted on-site discussions and exchanges, indicating that it is necessary to continue to strengthen the inspection of the waters and shorelines of Guisha Island, joint law enforcement and electronic monitoring, and put an end to illegal mud and sand washing in the waters.
Next, the Nansha Maritime Department will continue to cooperate with all units to actively participate in the joint inspection activities of normalized water traffic safety, eliminate the hidden dangers of water safety in its jurisdiction and maintain the cleanliness of the waters.
