Recently, Jidong Cement said in the investor research activities that by the end of 2022, the company's hazardous solid waste disposal capacity reached 5.25 million tons per year, of which 23 affiliated enterprises carried out hazardous waste disposal, with a disposal capacity of 1.23 million tons per year; 21 affiliated enterprises carry out domestic sludge disposal, with a disposal capacity of 1.55 million tons/year; 8 affiliated enterprises carry out domestic waste disposal, with a disposal capacity of 860,000 tons/year; 6 affiliated enterprises carry out contaminated soil disposal, with a disposal capacity of 460,000 tons/year; One affiliated enterprise carries out construction waste disposal with a disposal capacity of 1 million tons per year, and five affiliated enterprises carry out other general solid waste disposal with a disposal capacity of 150000 tons per year.
In 2022, the company completed the construction of more than 10 environmental protection disposal projects in Hebei, Shanxi and other regions, adding 570000 tons of hazardous (solid) waste disposal capacity, and further enhancing the waste disposal capacity. During the
reporting period, due to the reduction of hazardous solid waste market source enterprises and the fierce competition of disposal enterprises, the disposal price declined seriously. However, as the leading enterprise in the co-disposal of hazardous solid waste in cement kilns, the Company still has certain market competitiveness, and the operation rate and capacity utilization rate of co-disposal facilities remain above the industry average level. Through the establishment of a unified market operation mode of professional teams, the market price of hazardous waste disposal in the region has been stabilized. In
2023, with the implementation of a series of economic recovery measures and the support of the unified market strategy of the company's hazardous solid waste disposal business, the linkage between upstream and downstream industries will be further enhanced, and the company's hazardous solid waste collection and revenue are expected to increase to a certain extent compared with last year.
