In 2022, the value of new contracts signed by the Company amounted to RMB0.56 billion in 15422, representing a year-on-year increase of 21.64%. The increase in the amount of newly signed contracts was mainly due to the increase in construction demand in the fields of roads and bridges, housing construction, ecological environmental protection, and municipal engineering. The business structure has been continuously improved, the scale of spot exchange has been steadily expanded, and the quality and efficiency of investment have been significantly improved. As of December 31, 2022, the outstanding contracts held by the Company amounted to RMB125 million in 33883.
In 2022, the value of new contracts of the infrastructure construction business of the Company amounted to RMB0.70 billion in 13670, representing a year-on-year increase of 21.48%. In particular, the value of newly signed contracts from overseas regions amounted to RMB208,641 million (equivalent to approximately US $32,331 million); the value of confirmed contracts from infrastructure and other investment projects amounted to RMB21,067 million, and the value of construction and installation contracts that the Company is expected to undertake is RMB182,057 million. As of December 31, 2022, the amount of outstanding contracts held in execution is 1.16 billion yuan of 30289. According to the types and regions of projects, the newly signed contracts for urban construction, roads and bridges, overseas projects, port construction and railway construction are 678.981 billion yuan, 357.875 billion yuan, 208.641 billion yuan, 76.700 billion yuan and 44.873 billion yuan, respectively. They accounted for 50%, 26%, 15%, 6% and 3% of the newly signed contracts for infrastructure construction business respectively.
