On March 27, the Development and Reform Commission of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region issued a circular on the issuance of the Work Promotion Plan for the Construction of Energy Infrastructure in Guangxi in 2023.
According to the document, in 2023, around the implementation of the 14th Five-Year Plan for Energy Development in Guangxi, focusing on the construction of flexible transformation of transmission and distribution, nuclear power, thermal power and coal-fired power units, energy storage, photovoltaic power generation, wind power, hydropower, oil and gas and coal storage and transportation, charging infrastructure and comprehensive energy supply service stations, the provincial level will be strengthened. We will comprehensively promote the construction of five major projects, namely, transmission and distribution, power supply, energy storage, oil and gas, coal storage and transportation, and charging facilities, to ensure the completion of an annual investment of 75 billion yuan.
Among them, speed up the construction of power supply. In 2023, it plans to complete an investment of 53.757 billion yuan and implement 226 projects (including thermal power, nuclear power, photovoltaic power, wind power and hydropower). Among them, SDIC Qinzhou Power Plant Phase III Units 3 and 4, Guoneng Guangtou Beihai Power Plant Phase II Units 3 and 4, Zhongneng Chongzuo Power Plant Phase II Units 3 and 4, Geely Baikuang Expansion Project, Guangxi Fangchenggang Offshore Wind Power Demonstration Project, Baise Tianlin Badu 200MW Wind Power and Energy Storage Integration Project, Minhai Qinnan District Dongchang Town Wind Farm, There are 62 projects such as Pingguo-Nongguang Complementary Power Generation Project of Pingguo Municipal Bureau, and 164 projects such as SDIC Qinzhou Power Plant Phase III Unit 1 and Unit 2, Guangtou Beihai Power Plant Phase II, Zhongnengjian Chongzuo Power Plant Phase I, Fangchenggang Hongsha Nuclear Power Phase II, Jiangzhou District Jiangnan 145MW Photovoltaic Project and Tiandong County Lianhuashan Wind Farm. 111 projects have been completed and put into operation, including SDIC Qinzhou Power Plant Phase III Unit 1, Guoneng Guangtou Beihai Power Plant Phase I Supporting Wharf and Unit 1 Full Output Operation, Zhoulu Wuping 100MWp Agricultural Photovoltaic Project in Mashan County, and Chongzuo 2000 MW Wind, Solar and Storage Integration Project.
International Energy Network/Photovoltaic Headline (PV-2005) found that Guangxi plans to invest in 86 photovoltaic projects in 2023 after sorting out the "Schedule 3: Regional Energy Project Investment Schedule (Power Supply) in 2023". The total scale of the project is 17.1GW , the total investment of the project is 87.4937 billion yuan, and the total planned investment in 2023 is 12.39267 billion yuan.
Among them, there are 10 new photovoltaic projects with a total scale of 1,224.08 MW, and 76 continued photovoltaic projects with a total 15838 of 0.626 MW.
