In this regard, China Cement Network exchanged with Qi Yanyong, an associate professor of Southwest University of Science and Technology.

"At present, there is a common problem in intelligent control systems at home and abroad." Qi Yanyong said that in terms of production process control, if the production is relatively stable, the existing control system can be used normally, but if the working condition slightly deviates from the ability of the control system, it can not be used at all, and the system must be disconnected.

Why does this happen? Qi Yanyong said that the main reason was that the existing APC control system did not know enough about the cement industry, especially the firing system.

According to Qi Yanyong, the cement industry has two main characteristics: First, the cement industry is gas-solid two-phase heat transfer. Coolers, in particular, are large particles, and the heat transfer between them and the gas is uneven. However, all of our existing controls have a relatively shallow understanding of the gas-solid phase. Second, the final product of the kiln system is produced in the rotary kiln. The rotary kiln relies on fuel combustion, and the combustion of pulverized coal has specific requirements, so it is difficult to distinguish under what conditions the pulverized coal can burn quickly.

"Based on the above two characteristics of cement clinker burning system, the model we established is not accurate." Qi Yanyong spoke bluntly. How should

this situation be resolved? During the exchange, it was learned that Professor Qi and his research group found the problem of heat exchange of grate cooler in the underlying logic of the mechanism through more detailed research.
