1.3 yuan/W! Three Gorges Group Announces Successful Candidate for Photovoltaic Module Collection in the Second Quarter of 2023

On July 24, the Three Gorges Group announced the successful candidates for the centralized procurement of photovoltaic modules (Bid 1) of the Three Gorges Group in the second quarter of 2023. Three photovoltaic enterprises were shortlisted, namely,

Tongwei Solar Energy (Hefei) Co., Ltd., with a bid price of 2.928 billion yuan. The bidding unit price is 1.30 yuan/W ;

the bidding price of Yidao New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. is 3.025 billion yuan, and the bidding unit price is 1.34 yuan/W ;

Zhengtai Xinneng Technology Co., Ltd. has a bid price of 2.928 billion yuan and a unit price of 1.30 yuan/W .

On June 9, the Three Gorges Group issued a tender announcement for centralized procurement of photovoltaic modules (Bid 1) in the second quarter of 2023. Purchase P-type monocrystalline double-sided double-glass photovoltaic modules and ancillary equipment for Gonghe 900 MW photovoltaic project of Qinghai Qingyu DC Phase II Bid Section 3 of Three Gorges Energy and 1000 MW photovoltaic project of Qinghai Golmud 1100 MW photovoltaic project of Qinghai Three Gorges Energy. It is estimated that the total capacity purchased is about 2.25 GW.

The publicity period ends on July 27.

In addition, in the second quarter of 2023, the bidding results of the two and three bidding sections of the centralized procurement of photovoltaic modules of the Three Gorges Group were announced in mid-July. The bid winning companies of

Bid Section 2 are: Yidao New Energy is the first bid winner; Tongwei Solar is the second bid winner. The two companies are jointly responsible for the P-type single-crystal double-sided double-glass photovoltaic modules and ancillary equipment required by 9 photovoltaic projects such as the 100MW agricultural (forestry) photovoltaic complementary project in Guanchun, Lechang City, Three Gorges Energy, with an estimated total procurement capacity of about 1.24 GW . According to the announcement of winning the bid, the first winning bidder and the second winning bidder shall, in principle, allocate 55% and 45% of the total capacity of the project, and implement them in batches and in proportion according to the specific commencement schedule of the photovoltaic project.

Bid section 3 has only one successful bidder: Yidao New Energy , with a bid price of 764.4 million yuan. It is responsible for the N-type monocrystalline double-sided double-glass photovoltaic modules and ancillary equipment required for the 100MW photovoltaic + energy storage project in Mengxian County, Shanxi Province, and the 300 MW photovoltaic + energy storage project in Xiyang, Three Gorges Energy. Total capacity of 524.28 MW is estimated to be procured.

In addition, the tender announcement for centralized procurement of photovoltaic modules (Bid 4) in the second quarter of 2023 issued on June 26 has not announced the bid-winning dynamics as of the time of publication, and the digital new energy DNE will continue to follow up.
