on July 13, the main wharf control project of the first phase of Yugong Port Project of Hunan Port Group, one of the "Ten Infrastructure Projects" in Hunan Province, successfully completed the hoisting of the first span precast beam, marking the formal construction of the superstructure of the wharf and the formal start of the platform construction.
Under the command of the field instructor, a single 43-ton No.1 bent prestressed longitudinal beam was "lifted" by a 300-ton crane ship and steadily hoisted to the designated location.
It is understood that the Yugong Port Project is the first port project in the Xiangjiang River to adopt structural prefabricated parts and assembly technology, including 386 steel pipe piles, 348 prefabricated beams, 525 panels, 56 hollow slabs, etc. The prefabrication and installation of the whole prefabricated parts are the key factors for the progress of the project. At present, the wharf project of Yugong Port Phase I Project with a
construction period of 540 days has completed 95% of the pile foundations of the upstream and downstream wharf platforms, 35% of the lower beam pouring, 50% of the approach bridge works, and 90% of the prefabricated components of the wharf surface. Next, the project will carry out the construction of ancillary facilities such as hoisting the prefabricated longitudinal beam, hoisting the laminated slab on the prefabricated longitudinal beam, and pouring the wearing layer on the wharf surface. The main construction content of the
project is to build four new berths of 3000 tons (taking into account 5000 tons), which is expected to be completed in June 2024. The designed annual throughput is 9.9 million tons, of which the upstream is two multi-purpose berths, mainly engaged in containers and break-bulk cargo, with an annual throughput of 2.2 million tons; the downstream is two bulk cargo berths, mainly used to transport sand, mineral powder and other bulk cargo, with an annual throughput of 7.7 million tons.
