On March 25, in the Southern Circular Economy Industrial Park of Hami High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Xinjiang, the key construction project of the autonomous region, the photovoltaic silicon-based demonstration industrial park project of Qingdian Silicon Industry Co., Ltd., was fully started.
The project is invested and constructed by Qingdian Energy Group, with an annual output of 400000 tons of industrial silicon, 200000 tons of polysilicon and 60 gigawatts (1 gigawatt equals 1 million kilowatts) of monocrystalline silicon rods and slices, with an estimated investment of 9 billion yuan .
At present, the first phase of 100000 tons of polysilicon and 10 gigawatts of monocrystalline silicon rod slicing project is under construction, with a planned investment of 4 billion yuan. of Qingdian Silicon Industry Co., Ltd. is an important part of Hami's photovoltaic industry chain, located in Hami High-tech Industrial Development Zone, and is a key project of the autonomous region. After the project is put into production, the photovoltaic industry in Hami will be transformed from system application to product production.
"After the completion of the project, it will become the first mass-produced high-efficiency N-type TOPCon crystalline silicon battery project in Xinjiang." Zhu Zhichao, the company's director of factory affairs, said, "After the project reaches production, it will achieve annual sales revenue of 4.5 billion yuan, tax revenue of 520 million yuan, and provide 200 jobs."
