On March 21, the daily backfilling volume of backfilling sand in the three-run project of Shenzhen Airport officially exceeded 100,000 cubic meters, marking the successful achievement of the first goal of the labor competition of "Six to Six Creation and Three-type First-class Cup" in 2023.
Shenzhen Airport Three Runs Project is a major national project, a key project in Guangdong Province and a key construction project in Shenzhen City. The planned sea area is about 2.855 million square meters. The key construction contents include about 2.37 million square meters of land formation and 2.43 million square meters of soft foundation treatment. The project includes seven functional zones: outer seawall, runway area, taxiway, soil surface area, water surface area, site cofferdam, crossing road and bypass taxiway. Affected
by the geographical location, the supply of sand and gravel for the project is facing difficulties. In order to ensure the smooth progress of the construction, the project team carefully planned, rationally allocated people, materials and machines, took the labor competition as the grasp, actively coordinated and communicated with external units, organized nearly 260 vessels to enter the construction site, and delimited the construction space in the limited waters outside the high-speed bridge along the Yangtze River, and arranged three large pump-sand vessels for synchronous construction. Finally, the limit construction target of 100000 cubic meters of backfill sand per day was successfully achieved, and the construction efficiency was greatly improved. After the completion of the
project, it will strongly support the construction of Shenzhen International Aviation Hub and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area of world-class airport clusters, which is of great strategic significance for further promoting Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao to speed up the building of international first-class bay area and world-class urban agglomerations.
