The Government of Uzbekistan awarded the honorary certificate of "Special Contribution" to Uzbekistan Cement Project Company

In order to thank China Nengjian Uzi Cement Project Company for its positive contribution to the economic development of Samarkand, the governor of Samarkand issued the honorary certificate of "special contribution" to the project company on December 8. This is another honor after the government of Katakurgan District of Samarkand issued a certificate of honor to the project company. Since the commencement of the construction

of Uzi Cement Project, the project company has thoroughly implemented the important exposition of the General Secretary of Xi Jinping on "the Belt and Road", aimed at high-standard sustainable livelihood, actively fulfilled its social responsibility, contin uously improved the well-being of the people in the territory, and strived to make tangible contributions to the local economic and social development. Since the start of construction, the project has completed a total investment of more than 150 million US dollars, creating more than 5 million US dollars in tax revenue for the local government, helping Samarkand to become the largest financial contributor to Ukraine. During the construction period, the project company employed nearly 500 local workers, which will create 500 stable jobs for the local people after putting into operation. In addition, in the process of project investment and construction, a large number of production and living materials were purchased locally, which effectively increased people's income and brought tangible benefits to the local people.

In the future, the project company will further study the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, continue to maintain the spirit of vigorous struggle, and work together with all partners to build the project into a high-quality project, a green project and a model project for the benefit of the local people, to ensure that the project is ignited on schedule, and to build a "the Belt and Road" for high-quality construction. We will contribute to the consolidation and development of the traditional friendship between China and Uzbekistan.
