From July to December, the sales volume of Pakistan's cement industry increased by 15.66% year-on-year, exceeding 28.6 million tons.

According to the Pakistan Express Tribune on January 5, data released by the All Pakistan Cement Manufacturers Association (APCMA) on Monday showed that the total sales of the cement industry surged by 15.66 percent to 28.6 million tons in the first six months of the 2020-21 fiscal year, boosted by construction activities. Among them, the domestic sales increased by 15.9 percent to 23.6 million tons, and the total export volume reached 5 million tons, with a 同比增长14.6 of percent. It is noteworthy that in December, cement exports declined for the second consecutive month, from 770000 tons in the same period last year to 630000 tons this year.
