Ethiopian time, the foundation laying ceremony of Lemi Building Material Industrial Park of National Cement Co., Ltd. was solemnly held in Lemi Town, Amhara State. Ethiopian President Sahle-Work Zewde, former Prime Minister Haile Mariam Desalegn, Chairman of the Amhara State Government Agegnehu Teshager, Chairman of the Board of China West Cement Group Zhang Jimin, Buzuayehu Tadele, Chairman of East Africa Holding Group, Wang Jiujun, President of Western International Holding Group, Cheng Jin, General Manager of Sinoma International Ethiopia Branch, and other leaders attended the meeting. morning, President Sahle-Work Zewde and other government leaders at all levels came to the site of the foundation laying ceremony of Lemi Building Material Industrial Park, accompanied by Chairman Zhang Jimin, President Wang Jiujun, General Manager Cheng Jin and other leaders, listened to the introduction of the park and unveiled the foundation laying ceremony of the park project. At the

ceremony, Chairman Zhang Jimin delivered an ebullient speech. Chairman Zhang emphatically introduced the development process and enterprise profile of China West Cement and West International Holding Group. Chairman Zhang pointed out that Ethiopia has a good investment environment and huge market potential, as well as the friendly and Frank attitude of the partners, which is an important factor in choosing to invest in Ethiopia. the ceremony, President Sahle-Work Zewde delivered an important speech, saying that as a national key construction project, the Lemi Building Material Industrial Park of the National Cement Co., Ltd. will bring unprecedented opportunities and changes to Amhara State of Ethiopia and the whole country. She expressed her appreciation and respect to the Western International Holding Group and the companies involved in the project construction, and asked the state government and other departments at all levels to provide strong cooperation and support for the project construction.

Ethiopia Lemi Building Material Industrial Park Project is jointly constructed by Western International Holding Group and East African Holding Group, which is also an important strategic layout for the internationalization of Western Cement. The park will build two Africa's largest 10000 t/d new dry cement production lines, a gypsum board production line with an annual output of 30 million square meters and a 600 t/d float glass production line and other large-scale green building materials industrial parks by stages, which will create more than 5000 direct jobs after the park is fully put into operation. And more than 20000 indirect jobs upstream and downstream, making more contributions to the industrialization development of Ethiopia.
