Wuhan University of Technology Four-channel Pulverized Coal Burner Exported to Thailand

    The EPIC four-channel pulverized coal burner developed by the Thermal Engineering Research Institute of Wuhan University of Technology was exported to Thailand recently and successfully ignited on the 4400t/d cement clinker production line of SIAM Group in Thailand. < BR > The EPIC four-channel pulverized coal burner is a high-tech achievement with independent intellectual property rights. Its biggest advantage and feature is that it has strong adaptability to coal and can solve the combustion problem of low and inferior coal. Under the same process conditions, the four-channel pulverized coal burner can normally use inferior fuel with ash content of 35% -45%, volatile matter of 5% -8% and calorific value of 4000kcal/kg-4500kcal/kg without major transformation, and can ensure that the quality of cement clinker is not reduced. This is quite attractive for cement enterprises whose fuel is mainly low-quality coal with high ash content, low volatile matter and low calorific value. At present, EPIC four-channel pulverized coal burner has been applied to cement rotary kilns of nearly 100 enterprises in more than 20 provinces and cities in China, including famous enterprises such as Huaxin in Hubei, Kaiyuan in Yunnan and Lafarge in Chongqing. < BR > According to Professor Zhou Liqiu, the developer of the four-channel pulverized coal burner and director of the Institute of Thermal Engineering, Thailand's SIAM Group is the largest cement production base in Southeast Asia, where the world's first 10,000-ton cement production line was built. The group has sent relevant personnel to China to investigate the use of four-channel pulverized coal burners on the spot, and compared them with similar products abroad in detail, and finally signed an import agreement with the Institute. Before being exported to Thailand, the four-channel pulverized coal burner was also exported to Vietnam.
