< P > < FONT face = Verdana > At present, despite the freezing weather, the beam fabrication plant of Haigong Railway Expansion and Reconstruction Project Department is a busy work scene. According to the person in charge of the project department, the Haigong Railway Expansion and Reconstruction Project has been progressing smoothly since the start of construction. Up to now, 40% of the total amount of civil engineering has been completed, with a total investment of nearly 200 million yuan.

< P > < FONT face = Verdana > The bid section of the Capacity Expansion and Reconstruction Project of Haigong Railway has a total length of 35.06 kilometers and a total length of 其中新建线路24.25 kilometers. The length of the existing line to be reconstructed is 10.81 kilometers. The main works include subgrade, bridges and culverts, track, communication, power and other works. It has the characteristics of long line, large number of bridges and culverts, and high density. The project officially started construction on July 28 this year. At present, the civil construction of all key control projects has been basically completed, and 80% of the subgrade works have been completed. Among them, the pile foundation works of the super-large railway bridge on the Beijing-Tibet Expressway have been completed, and 60% of the upper pier structure has been completed. The pile foundation works of the super-large bridge across the Baotou-Lanzhou Railway has been completed by 60%, and the upper pier structure by 35%. The pile foundation works of Erdaokante Bridge, Qingnian Farm Bridge and the remaining five bridges have been basically completed; 18 of the 57 culverts have been completed.

< P > < FONT face = Verdana > Due to the weather, the concrete pouring of the civil construction of the project has been suspended, but the production of prefabricated T-beams of steel structures is being intensified. On December 11, the reporter saw in the beam making plant of the Haigong Railway Expansion and Reconstruction Project Department that in order to ensure the construction period, workers were rushing to make the prefabricated T-beams needed for the Haigong Railway Project. Yin Sen, chief engineer of the project department, told reporters: "The Haigong Railway needs 402 prefabricated T-beams with a length of 32 meters and 24 meters, and 38 have been completed so far.". In order to ensure the quality of winter construction, in the process of prefabricating T-beams, engineers and technicians adopted advanced technologies such as fire heating in insulation shed and steam curing in warm shed to ensure the construction temperature and concrete quality in winter construction. At the end of March next year, Haigong Railway will start the whole line girder erection operation. According to the current production progress of T-beam, it can meet the needs of girder erection project. "

< P > < FONT face = Verdana > Haigong Railway Expansion and Reconstruction Project is a major transportation infrastructure construction project approved by the Ministry of Railways. There are 4 super bridges, 7 large bridges, 2 frame bridges, 4 small bridges, 57 culverts, 3 new stations and 2 reconstructed stations along the whole line. The total construction period of the project is 18 months. The whole project is planned to start beam erection and track laying in March 2010, and complete all construction and installation works in December 2010. After the reconstruction of Haigong Railway Line, it will be connected with Baotou-Lanzhou Railway, which will shorten the transportation distance from Northwest China to major cities in North China and Northeast China by about 100 kilometers, and will become another convenient railway corridor from Northwest China to North China, Northeast China and the eastern coast, thus further optimizing the railway network structure in northern China. In addition, after the completion of the railway line reconstruction, the annual transport capacity will be increased from about 10 million tons to 30 million tons, which will further break the transportation bottleneck in Wuhai area, accelerate the pace of resource development along the line, and meet the transport needs of coal and chemical enterprises along the railway.
