Experts from the Belarusian State University of Technology have developed an ultrasonic cement tester called "SL-BNTU", whose working principle is to use dry contacts and measurement parameter signals generated in the test medium in the process of forming different types of ultrasonic waves.

SL-BNTU is specially used to evaluate the change of strength and elastic properties of cement and the homogeneity in the structure of cement products, and to detect the dynamic properties of solid cement to determine the design strength of cement, and to detect defects (cracks) in cement structures and buildings.

The overall dimension of SL-BNTU is 200 × 110 × 34mm. The initial price is three times lower than that of similar products in Russia, but the test time is shortened by 5-8%. Because it can accurately determine the moment when the cement reaches the design strength, the proportion of building defects is greatly reduced.

At present, the problems existing in the cement industry, such as disorderly prices, out-of-control transportation, chaotic orders and cumbersome manual reconciliation, are the major persistent problems that plague enterprises all the year round. Cement products have high homogeneity and fixed transportation radius. The traditional supervision mode relying on manual inspection and offline account is not only time-consuming, time-consuming and costly, but also has problems such as lagging supervision, many loopholes and difficulty in obtaining evidence, which directly affects the stable development of enterprise management, operation and other dimensions.
