5月20日，以“绿色低碳 责任担当 推动行业十四五高质量发展”为主题的湖北省水泥工业协会七届二次会员大会暨全省水泥企业年会在武汉召开。中国葛洲坝集团水泥有限公司党委书记、董事长付军出席会议，并当选湖北省水泥工业协会会长。
付军在当选讲话中对行业主管部门、中国水泥协会以及各位代表的支持和信任表示衷心感谢。他表示，将尽心竭力，不辱使命，积极工作，开拓进取，奋力推动湖北省水泥行业高质量发展行稳致远。随后，他围绕推动水泥行业“十四五”期间实现更高质量发展，从不断提升绿色低碳发展水平、加快推进科技创新和数字化转型、持续深化供给侧结构性改革和全力加强协会自身建设四个方面，分析了行业发展现状和趋势，明确了协会的下一步工作方向。
