Inner Mongolia: Why can Wuhai Binhe New Area Mix Concrete on Site

However, some construction sites are still mixing concrete on site, which can not save resources, but also destroy the urban environment to a certain extent. In 2003, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Construction and other departments issued a notice requiring all parts of the country to prohibit on-site mixing of concrete. However, a national ban is difficult to enforce in Binhe New Area.

< P > < FONT face = Verdana > On July 14, during an interview in Binhe New District of Wuhai City, the reporter saw that on-site mixers were set up on the construction sites of Shijingyuan, Bintiejiayuan, Junzheng Community, Mengxi Century City and other communities. In this regard, Director Miao of Wuhai Construction Committee told reporters: At present, there are only three mixing stations with relevant qualifications in Wuhai City. These mixing stations can not supply the concrete needed for the construction of the whole city every day. Therefore, the existence of on-site mixers on the construction site is inevitable. If there are five mixing stations with relevant qualifications in Wuhai City, which can supply the concrete needed by the construction site, we will prohibit the mixing of concrete on the construction site. During the interview, the reporter learned that in 2003 and 2009, the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Construction successively issued the Notice on Further Improving the Prohibition of On-site Mixing of Concrete in Cities, which requires that in order to save resources, protect the environment and promote energy conservation and emission reduction, from December 31, 2005, all parts of the country prohibit on-site mixing of concrete in cities. If a construction project that should use concrete according to regulations is mixed on site without approval, the competent administrative department of urban construction shall order it to stop work and make corrections within a time limit.
