Korea: New Super High Strength Concrete Is Comparable to Granite

< P > < FONT face = Verdana > International News Samsung Co., Ltd. of South Korea has developed an ultra-high-strength concrete with the same strength as granite, which can be used to build buildings up to kilometers high. According to reports, the strength of this ultra-high strength concrete reaches 150 MPa, and it can bear 1.5 tons per square centimeter, which is equivalent to loading the weight of an ordinary truck on an area size of a coin. < P > < FONT face = Verdana > Ultra-high strength concrete is technically unique in the selection and mixing of raw materials such as cement and sand. The casting test of this concrete carried out by Samsung has proved that its construction adaptability is good, and it can save working hours and construction costs. Hunan Jinlei Southern Cement Co., Ltd. was established in December 2001, formerly known as Chenzhou Dongjiang Jinlei Cement Co., Ltd., and joined the Southern Cement System under China Building Materials in 2008, mainly engaged in cement manufacturing, sales and limestone mining for cement. The company has two 2500 tons/day new dry process clinker production lines, which were put into operation in 2004 and 2006 respectively. According to the list of production lines published by the Hunan Provincial Office of Industry and Information Technology, both production lines have been announced in December 2019.
