Korea: New Super High Strength Concrete Is Comparable to Granite

< P > < FONT face = Verdana > International News Samsung Co., Ltd. of South Korea has developed an ultra-high-strength concrete with the same strength as granite, which can be used to build buildings up to kilometers high. According to reports, the strength of this ultra-high strength concrete reaches 150 MPa, and it can bear 1.5 tons per square centimeter, which is equivalent to loading the weight of an ordinary truck on an area size of a coin.

< P > < FONT face = Verdana > Ultra-high strength concrete is technically unique in the selection and mixing of raw materials such as cement and sand. The casting test of this concrete carried out by Samsung has proved that its construction adaptability is good, and it can save working hours and construction costs. Samsung Co., Ltd. plans to put it into service this month.
