Industry and Infrastructure signed a resolution on regulating the import of certain types of cement products, restricting the transport of certain types of cement products to Kazakhstan through third countries for a period of six months.    The types of cement

prohibited from import include clinker cement (code for 2523100000), Portland cement (code for 2523290000) and hydraulic cement (code for 2523900000).

In addition, according to the resolution, the Ministry of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan is required to inform the Eurasian Economic Commission about the ban and submit it for consideration.

The resolution was registered with the Ministry of Justice on 11 May and will take effect ten days after publication.
