Cement Production and Sales Rise Significantly in Syria's Accelerated Reconstruction

On January 11, the Syrian official media Sana'a website reported that in 2020, the sales of the Central Hama Cement and Building Materials Corporation amounted to 49 billion Syrian pounds and sold 150000 tons of cement. The company's cement production reached 150,000 tons, while the amount of clinker , the main and basic material used in the cement industry, reached 714,000 tons, indicating that the company's concrete block production unit sold 660,000 concrete blocks of various specifications for the public and private sectors within the past year. Last year, Hama Cement began producing roadside concrete slabs in various sizes and selling them to the public and private sectors.
