Com learned from the public account of CITIC Bo New Energy that recently, CITIC Bo and Northwest Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd. of China Power Engineering Consulting Group (hereinafter referred to as "Northwest Electric Power Design Institute") signed a 1GW project order in Azerbaijan. The Azerbaijani 1GW order signed at
the
signing ceremony covers two major projects, Villasuvar and Banka . Among them, the Villasuvar project is the largest photovoltaic project under construction in Azerbaijan . The two projects will use the CITIC Bo Skyline II tracking system to provide technical support for the efficient operation of the project. After the completion of the
project, it is estimated that the annual power generation will be 1.53 billion degrees , which will help Azerbaijan achieve the target of 6GW photovoltaic installation in 2030.
Earlier, CITIC Bo responded positively to the call of the "the Belt and Road" and deeply participated in Sino-Arab cooperation, participating in the construction of the first large-scale photovoltaic power station in Azerbaijan. It has been successfully connected to the grid in 2023, bringing 500 million degrees of green power to the local area annually.
