By the end of August, the total installed capacity of power generation in China was 3.69 billion kilowatts, up 18.0% year on year. Among them, the installed capacity of solar power was 1.12 billion kilowatts, an increase of 48.5% over the same period last year.

Com, from January to August this year, the new installed capacity of photovoltaic in China reached 230.61 GW , which has exceeded the new installed capacity in 2023. Among them, the newly installed capacity in August was 7.36 GW , down 55.29% year-on-year and 33.33% year-on-year .
This is the third time that China's new photovoltaic installed capacity has declined since May this year.
