In response to this, Dongfang Hope Group issued a statement on its official public number on July 19, "Dongfang Hope Group's Statement on Resisting False Information on the Polysilicon Industry Network and Safeguarding Legitimate Rights and Interests". The specific contents of the "Statement" are as follows:
Recently, some Internet we-media have continuously published a number of false articles, publicly spreading rumors or insinuating that its Xinjiang base subsidiary " sold polysilicon in violation of regulations" and other false contents. Such acts have seriously infringed on their reputation and legitimate rights and interests .
Based on the on-site verification of the facts by the national authorities and relevant laws and regulations, our group solemnly declares in writing as follows:
I. Oriental Hope Group actively responds to and cooperates with the relevant policies of the state to guide the healthy development of the industry. Industry self-discipline conventions , such as production reduction and production restriction, strictly abide by the relevant laws and regulations of the state, have not been shipped below the cost price since July. Polysilicon production and sales activities are carried out legally and in compliance with market rules.
2. We publicly condemn the use of information platforms by individual organizations or individuals to disseminate false information against subsidiaries of our group. For the relevant infringement content, the legal advisory team has completed the evidence fixation according to law, and we reserve the right to take further legal measures (including but not limited to criminal reporting, civil litigation, etc.).
