On June 10, Chongqing Conch Cement Co., Ltd. (Hereinafter referred to as Chongqing Conch) Kitchen Waste Biodegradation and Harmless Disposal Center, located in Zhongxian Industrial Park, a special vehicle slowly poured kitchen waste into the absorption pool. Two hours later, the kitchen waste turned into oil and organic fertilizer raw materials.
This is the first system in China to use cement kilns to co-treat kitchen waste.
Chongqing Conch is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Anhui Conch Group Co., Ltd. and settled in Zhongxian County in 2008. Reporters at the scene saw that kitchen waste became oil and organic fertilizer raw materials after biodegradation through feeding storage, pre-crushing, organic sorting, sand removal, oil extraction and aerobic fermentation. The organic fertilizer can be used for planting crops such as oranges and vegetables and landscaping; and the oil enters a cement kiln to be used as a fuel for manufacturing cement, thereby replacing coal. It is understood that according to the annual treatment of more than 20000 tons of kitchen waste, the oil produced by the system can be used as fuel for cement kilns, which can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 4966 tons, sulfur dioxide production by 16 tons and nitrogen oxide production by 14 tons.
"In the past, Chongqing conch also had problems such as high power loss and low thermal efficiency." The person in charge of Zhongxian Industrial Park introduced that in recent years, on the one hand, Zhongxian has implemented energy-saving and carbon-reducing actions in key industries, guided enterprises to strive for national and municipal green factories, on the other hand, it has strengthened the negative list control of the Yangtze River Economic Zone and vigorously attracted a number of green low-carbon high-quality industrial projects.
"The kitchen waste project is a major basic project for us to create a" waste-free city ". The relevant person in charge of Zhongxian said that there are more than 400 restaurants in Zhongxian City, which produce more than 60 tons of kitchen waste every day. In the past, landfill measures were mainly taken to deal with these kitchen waste, but with the emergency of landfills around the country, as well as the risks of leakage and biogas safety, this landfill treatment method can no longer meet the needs.
To this end, Zhongxian signed an agreement with Chongqing Conch, with a total investment of 50 million yuan, to implement the project of utilizing cement kilns to dispose of kitchen waste as resources. In February last year, the kitchen waste biodegradation and harmless disposal center was built and put into operation, effectively solving the problem of kitchen waste disposal in Zhongxian and surrounding districts and counties.
At the same time, Chongqing Conch continuously promotes the transformation of cement production to digitalization and greening, which not only controls the environment, but also reduces carbon.
In recent years, Chongqing Conch has transformed three lines of SCR flue gas denitrification system, built a new limestone/lime-gypsum wet flue gas desulfurization system, and changed the dust removal equipment at the kiln head and kiln tail of the three production lines into electric bags. It has built three cement clinker production lines with a daily output of 4500 tons, six cement mills with an annual capacity of 6.4 million tons, two pure low-temperature waste heat power generation systems, one photovoltaic power generation system, and one aggregate production line with an annual output of 2 million tons. A set of municipal solid waste treatment system with a daily treatment capacity of 200 tons and a set of kitchen waste treatment system with a daily treatment capacity of 60 tons.
Energy-saving technological transformation, waste heat power generation, raw material substitution.. Chongqing Conch series of measures have greatly reduced the carbon emissions directly generated in the cement production process, saving 20978 tons of standard coal, 27.9 million degrees of electricity and 54542 tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year. Chongqing Conch has been awarded the titles of "National Green Factory", "National Green Mine", "National Intelligent Manufacturing Demonstration Factory" and "Environmental Protection A-level Enterprise", and has successfully built A "Garden Cement Intelligent Manufacturing Factory".
