On the one hand, we will continue to promote the optimization and adjustment of industrial structure, eliminating backward coal production capacity of 1 billion tons, steel production capacity of 300 million tons and cement production capacity of 400 million tons ; More than 95% of coal-fired power units and 45% of crude steel production capacity have completed ultra-low emission transformation, and the world's largest clean power system and clean steel production system have been built.
On the other hand, we have accelerated the clean and efficient use of energy, and the proportion of coal consumption in primary energy consumption has dropped from 67.4% ten years ago to 55.3% last year. We have also reduced the number of coal-fired boilers from nearly 500,000 to less than 100,000. We have also completed the clean heating and scattered coal treatment and transformation of 39 million households in northern China.
At the same time, in the green transformation of transportation, more than 40 million high-emission vehicles have been eliminated in the past ten years, the proportion of new energy buses has increased from less than 20% ten years ago to more than 80% last year, and the level of clean transportation of bulk goods has also been continuously improved.
