After several years of operation, the pollutant nitrogen dioxide in the flue gas has been steadily and continuously controlled from 400 mg/m3 to less than 50 mg/m3, which is far below the national emission standard. At the end of 2023, the national cement industry flue gas ultra-low emission standards were re-regulated, and Hongchang Cement became the first successful case of SCR deep denitrification project in Tsinghua University, and promoted to the whole country. According to Liu Hua, general manager of Dengfeng Hongchang, when Zhengzhou Ecological Environment Bureau and Tsinghua University proposed ultra-low emissions, they also opposed it: the national standard is not so low, nor is it low abroad, why should Zhengzhou be the first to eat crabs; At that time, there was no successful case in the cement industry, and there was no case of 5000 tons of clinker line per day abroad. The global blank was mainly due to the high dust concentration, low temperature and other problems that could not be overcome, and the low-temperature catalyst was not developed. At that time, the team of Professor Li Junhua of Tsinghua University was skeptical. Think it will be laboratory technology; after all, it is a private enterprise, a small enterprise, they think that there should be central enterprises and state-owned enterprises to carry the banner of first try, they can walk behind, after all, the investment is large; considering the return on investment, after all, it is a private enterprise, and they also want the government to give some policy support. Later, after five-in-one research with the government, universities, cement, environmental protection and media, they finally chose Tsinghua University and West Mine Longjing Environmental Protection to cooperate in the implementation of ultra-low emission transformation. On September 19, 2018, the first set of SCR denitrification project in China's cement industry was completed and put into operation. After the

implementation of ultra-low emissions, they were also very worried at that time, afraid of affecting the operation of large kilns, afraid of blockage, only from the management and technical aspects of self-pressure. In the past five years of operation, there has not been an accident caused by ultra-low emissions in the operation of large kilns. The enterprise has withstood the test and has been recognized by Dengfeng, Zhengzhou, Henan Province, the national four-level environmental protection and government departments. Dengcao Group Hongchang Cement is currently a state-level green factory, with good business operation and leading industry, and the government has also given a lot of policy support.

Looking back on the past five years, General Manager Liu Hua said that from the initial distrust and peer disapproval, but with the policy support of the government and environmental protection departments and the technical support of the professor team of Tsinghua University, he now believes that the enterprise has taken the right path.
