loaded with cement clinker was transferred to the open top of the train.
It is understood that this batch of cement clinker is produced by Beiliu Conch Cement Co., Ltd., located in Beiliu Minan Town Industrial Park. The company mainly supplies Zhanjiang, Maoming and other places in Guangdong. Because the preservation of cement clinker requires a dry and relatively closed transportation environment, before the opening of container business in Beiliu Railway Freight Yard, the company's cement clinker is mainly transported by road or first transported to Xingye Railway Freight Yard by road, and then loaded into containers and transported to Guangdong by railway. However, the cost of highway transportation is relatively high, and the freight yard of Xingye Railway needs to be transferred, which is not the best choice. After the opening of container business
in Beiliu Railway Freight Yard, the enterprise resolutely chose the way of railway transportation through the visit and docking of railway departments. By packing in Beiliu and sending directly to Guangdong in Beiliu, it is not only more convenient and faster, but also greatly reduces the transportation cost.
At present, Beiliu Railway Freight Yard has opened 20 feet, 40 feet, 45 feet and other different types of container business. Through field visits, railway departments carry out marketing activities in Beiliu Conch Cement Co., Ltd. and other enterprises, vigorously publicize the advantages of railway transportation in large quantities, sufficient capacity and stable safety performance, and formulate a "one enterprise, one policy" transportation plan for enterprises to help them reduce logistics costs.
