Taking Changzhou Lock, the core of Xijiang River, as an example, in 2023, the 61889 of ships passing through the lock of Changzhou Hub Lock was 0.68 million tons 14203, an increase of 2.05% and 13.71% respectively over the same period of last year, and the main types of cargo were gravel, cement, stone powder, etc. They account for 40%, 15% and 12% of the freight volume passing through the gate. respectively in the

. It is expected that the reduction of natural water will affect the transportation of gravel, cement, machine-made sand and stone powder in Xijiang this winter and next spring to a certain extent.
