2024, Spain's cement consumption increased by 1.3% compared with the same period last year.
It is understood that Spain's domestic cement consumption performance has not been gratifying since this year. In January-June, Spanish cement consumption fell 3.3% year-on-year to 7.268 million tons, compared with 7.513 million tons in the same period last year. The excellent performance of cement consumption in October reversed this decline.
At the beginning of the year, Aniceto Zaragoza, general manager of the Spanish Cement Association Officemen, predicted that Spain's domestic cement consumption would recover by the end of the year.
