Recently, Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Group's world's largest phosphogypsum decomposition sulphuric acid co-production cement plant ( "1468" project) was successfully commissioned at one time. This is a solid step taken by Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Group to further promote the "rich ore fine development" on the road of green industry economy.

Since its inception, the "1468" project of Phosphate Chemical Group has attracted much attention with its huge scale of consuming 1.4 million tons of phosphogypsum, producing 600000 tons of sulfuric acid and 800000 tons of cement annually.
"The success of one-time commissioning of the project not only sets a new benchmark for Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Group and even the global phosphorus chemical industry, but also provides useful exploration and practical experience for the sustainable utilization of mineral resources and the protection of ecological environment, fully demonstrating the implementation of new development concepts and the promotion of high-quality development of Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Group." It also provides an example for the green transformation of phosphorus chemical industry in Guizhou Province and even the whole country. According to the relevant person in charge of the project, as a by-product of phosphoric acid production, how to recycle phosphogypsum has always been a difficult problem faced by the industry. Through continuous technical research and development and practical exploration, Phosphate Chemical Group has overcome one technical problem after another, and finally found the best solution, successfully developed a new technology of phosphogypsum decomposition to sulfuric acid and co-production of cement, which opens up a new way for the resource utilization of phosphogypsum.
Next, Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Group will continue to take the "1468" project as an opportunity to deepen the research and application of phosphogypsum resource utilization technology, actively expand the relevant industrial chain, and contribute to the construction of a green, low-carbon and recycling modern phosphorus chemical industry system.
