According to Japan's Kyodo News Agency, at about 9:40 local time on the 11th, a ship loaded with earth exploded when the hatch was opened at the factory dock of Japanese cement giant Ube Mitsubishi Cement in Tamachi, Fukuoka Prefecture, producing high-temperature gas and injuring seven people. The injured have been taken to hospital for treatment, and at least three of them are in serious condition.
