On October 31, the Energy Bureau of Guangdong Province issued an announcement on the list of counties (cities and districts) with difficulties in network connection and the early warning level of low-voltage distribution network connection. According to the announcement, 11 counties (cities and districts) have no network capacity, and 13 counties (cities and districts) have less than 50000 kilowatts of network capacity.

Guangdong Provincial Energy Bureau on the release of counties (cities, Guangdong is listed as a pilot province in the Notice of the General Department of the
National Energy Administration on the Issuance of the Pilot Work on the Assessment of the Carrying Capacity and Improvement Measures of Distributed Photovoltaic Access to the Grid (Guoneng Zongtong Xinneng [2023] 74). According to the requirements of the pilot work, after organizational evaluation, the list of counties (cities and districts) with difficulties in network connection and absorption in our province and the early warning level of low-voltage distribution network connection are announced.
1. List
of counties (cities and districts) with network connection difficulties Counties (cities and districts) without network connection capacity: Lechang City, Nanxiong City, Renhua County and Shixing County of Shaoguan City, Yangxi County of Yangjiang City, Xuwen County and Leizhou City of Zhanjiang City, Meixian District of Meizhou City, Lianshan Zhuang and Yao Autonomous County, Yangshan County and Lianzhou City of Qingyuan City. network capacity less than 50,000 kW: Nan'ao County of Shantou City, Ruyuan County of Shaoguan City, Guangning County of Zhaoqing City, Pingyuan County and Dapu County of Meizhou City, Honghai Bay and Luhe County of Shanwei City, Mazhang District, Potou District, Suixi County and Wuchuan City of Zhanjiang City, Gaozhou City of Maoming City, and Liannan Yao Autonomous County of Qingyuan City.
2. According to the requirements of Guoneng Zongtong Xinneng [2023] No.74, the early warning level
of low-voltage distribution network connection only evaluates the carrying capacity of low-voltage distribution network without considering the constraints of superior power grid. If less than 30% of the substations are assessed as yellow and red according to the Guidelines for Assessment of the Carrying Capacity of Distributed Generation Access to Power Grid, the carrying capacity is good; if 30% to 80% of the substations are assessed as yellow and red, the carrying capacity is general; if more than 80% of the substations are assessed as yellow and red, the carrying capacity is limited.
After evaluation, the early warning level of low-voltage distribution network carrying capacity in all counties (cities and districts) of our province is good.
