On September 23, the unveiling ceremony of "TCL Photovoltaic Low Carbon Campus" was held at No.1 Middle School in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
It is understood that TCL Public Welfare Foundation has joined hands with TCL Central to carry out the construction of "TCL Photovoltaic Low Carbon Campus" for the whole country. The project focuses on the goal of "double carbon" and promotes the green development of energy transformation. TCL Public Welfare Foundation carries out customized photovoltaic low carbon campus construction for urban schools in a new way of social value investment. It actively responds to the global goal of sustainable development of the United Nations from the practice of full-scene application and systematic upgrading of photovoltaic technology, and continuously promotes innovation-driven green development.
At present, "TCL Photovoltaic Low Carbon Campus" has been built in 20 schools across the country, and the technology and system are constantly upgrading. The project entered the city school for the first time and officially landed in Hohhot No.1 Middle School. TCL Public Welfare Foundation uses TCL Central "G12 + Shingle" and other photovoltaic technologies to create a new sustainable and systematic photovoltaic student aid model that integrates "cutting-edge technology + dual-carbon practice + diversified scenarios + popular science education". It is understood that the installed capacity of the project is 183.15 kilowatts , and it is estimated that 270000 degrees of green electricity can be obtained annually. Photovoltaic systems have reduced carbon dioxide emissions by more than 6722.98 tons in 25 years, equivalent to 366300 trees planted , maximizing the potential of photovoltaic campuses with the strong support of photovoltaic technology. Wei Xue, Vice President of
TCL Technology Group and Chairman of TCL Public Welfare Foundation, said that the construction of "TCL Photovoltaic Low Carbon Campus" is an important public welfare practice in response to the sustainable development goals of the United Nations. To create a new model of photovoltaic education, we hope to promote the concept of green education and further transmit the concept of green education to every teenager through the development of photovoltaic science lectures, visits to photovoltaic industrial parks and practical courses. On the afternoon of
the 23rd, nine "TCL Photovoltaic Low Carbon Campuses" in Helingeer County of Hohhot City also completed the licensing ceremony. TCL Public Welfare Foundation donated rooftop photovoltaic power generation systems and their 25-year power generation income to nine rural schools in Helingeer County, and the proceeds will be used for school environmental construction and student aid.
"TCL Photovoltaic Low Carbon Campus" creates a new mode of systematic photovoltaic student aid, and is committed to covering diversified scenarios and photovoltaic environmental protection education peers on the basis of donated photovoltaic roof power generation systems in rural and urban areas. In the future, TCL Public Welfare Foundation will insist on exploring the integration and symbiosis of science and technology and public welfare. TCL Central will also firmly follow the path of high-quality development of enterprises, promote industrial transformation and upgrading, and bring more model innovations to green development and education with the concept and practice of sustainable development.
